Handsworth Wood Neighbourhood update – 25/07/2026 – 02/08/2026 Welcome to this week’s crime and community update for the Handsworth Wood area. Our neighbourhood team remains committed to tackling key crime issues affecting residents, especially around domestic abuse, robbery, burglary, and vehicle crime. We also continue to engage with schools and local partners to provide early intervention and support. 🛑 Crime Updates
Burglary One attempt burglary reported on Endwood Court Road between 20/07/2026 and 27/07/2026. No entry gained. ➡️ Please remain vigilant and review your home security — consider alarms, CCTV, and good lighting. Vehicle Crime One Theft from motor vehicle reported on Lloyd Road. Individual walking along the road trying car door handles. No sure what was stolen from the vehicle.
➡️ Key-less entry theft remains a concern. Please use Faraday pouches, remove visible items, and consider physical deterrents like steering wheel locks.

Team Highlights
It was great to spend some time with the participants of the summer HAF programme being hosted at Prince Albert High School. As part of the engagement and enrichment session, SIPO discussed made and adapted weapons and street drugs.
